Robert Christian 69th minute debut goal gave Bayelsa United a one zero victory over visitors Remo Stars of Ogun state in a match day four encounter of the Nigeria National League NNL decided at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa.

The Restoration Boys will next travel to Enugu face Lamry FC who held Julius Atete to a one all draw on Saturday

After the disappointed technical adviser of Remo Stars Daniel Ogunmodede lauded his players for putting a big fight against former champions Bayelsa United.

Technical Adviser of Bayelsa United Dipreye Teibowei raised concern over his side wastefulness in front of goals despite creating scoring opportunities.

On his part New Boy Robert Christian noted that he is very happy to score on his debut for Bayelsa United.

The former George Turnah forward added that his target at the moment is to continue scoring whenever he is called upon.
