NNL Rules In Favour Of Remo Stars As Bayelsa United Stage Walk Out By Niyi Busari The management of Nigeria National League (NNL) will award three points and three goals in favour of Remo Stars if match officials' report goes their way, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Bayelsa United on Friday in the NNL league match in the 29th minute created a confrontation with the home team when the visitors' goalkeeper refused to stand up after a collision with Remo player. The technical crew of the Aiteo Cup winners instructed the team to leave the pitch, complaining that the referee should have issued Remo Stars player a yellow card for the collusion. The team stayed out for more than 10 minutes and refused to continue the game even after referee appealed to them to play on. The match officials signaled for the end of the game when it seemed that they would not play on. When the referee had sounded his whistle, the visitors changed their minds and said they were ready to continue but their pleas were turned down as they have stayed out for more than the appropriate time allowed according to the rules of the game. Bayelsa United then sighted security for the reason they left the pitch. BSN Sports however confirmed that there were enough security personnels on ground.
