Sammy Timothy Seals Sokoto United One-season Loan Deal By Niyi Busari Former FC Liberty striker, Sammy Timothy has completed a season loan deal with Nigeria National League side, Sokoto United, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Sammy, 17, was outstanding in last year's FCT FA League where he helped his former team, FC Liberty to be ranked among the best teams in FCT. He scored a handful of goals and was known for his precision in front of the goal post. Chairman, FC Liberty, Mr Paul while speaking with Basic Sports in Nigeria reiterated that the club's aim and objective is to develop grassroots players for top teams in the world. He added that despite a few years of the team's existence a couple of players have used the platform to move their career to high places. In his words: "FC Liberty primary objective is to comb everywhere to get talented grassroots players and use the platform to expose them to the world."
