NNL: Stalemates In Lagos As The Most Important League In Nigeria Resumes By Oluwayemi Omolagba The Nigeria National League (NNL) returned in its full strength over the weekend with Teslim Balogun the center of attraction hosting three games, BSNSports.com.ng reports. It finished goalless in the first game of the season played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium between Vandrezzer FC and Bendel Insurance. In another game played on Saturday at the Stadium Ikorodu City FC were held to a goalless draw by Giant Brillars FC. It was yet another draw (1-1) at the Teslim Balogun Stadium between host Sporting Lagos FC and Go-Round FC. EFCC FC recorded the first victory of the campaign beating Zamfara United 2-1. City FC, ABS, Gateway United, Osun United, JGS, Ijebu United all recorded a 2-0 victory over their opponents. Warri Wolves, FC One Rocket, Green Berets, Malumfashi all picked up the maximum points at home during the first weekend.
