NNL Super 8: Adamu gives Gombe crucial win

Gombe United on Monday morning recorded their first win in the ongoing NNL Super 8, as they defeated Real Stars 1-0, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Gombe who were forced to a 1-1 draw in the opening game by Kogi United on Sunday, were the better side in the keenly contested encounter at the Aba international stadium.

The Real stars on their part also played out 2-2 draw with Kada Stars at same venue.

The first stanza ended goalless but Adamu Mohammed broke the deadlock later in the game through an header and gave the Scorpion the crucial victory.

A draw in the last game against Kada Stars will take Gombe into the elites division after years of absence
