Barely 24 hours to the commencement of the 2021 Nigeria National League Super 8, El Kanemi Warrior goalkeeper David Obiozor remained optimistic on securing NPFL qualification ticket,

Former Kano Pillars safehand was one of the key players of the Borno-based team throughout the regular season and he was able to give a good account of himself.
The 8 concerned team are already in Enugu venue of the playoff and Obiozor remained hopeful ahead of the kickoff.
"I'm very optimistic that we are heading back to the NPFL next season but the journey must be achieved here in Enugu during the playoff and we are ready also and we are equally going to give our all.

"We have players to achieve such feat and our technical crew led by Coach Babaganaru are experienced enough, having worked with the club in the NPFL is enough tonic to get us back into the NPFL and we must take the game one after the other because all the team will fight too," he said.
Obiozor is not new to the elite division as he has played for Kano Pillars and Heartland fC in the past.
