NNL Super 8 Final Between 3SC And Niger Tornadoes Holds Sunday

The management of Nigeria National League (NNL) has said that the final match to determine the champions of the 2020/21 NNL season between Shooting Stars and Niger Tornadoes will hold on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the League, Emmanuel Adesanya, confirming that the match will commence at 10am at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Before the final game, the postponed Bendel Insurance versus Remo final group B game will hold at 8 am at the same venue.
Group B table toppers, 3SC earned 7 points from three matches and will face group A leaders, Niger Tornadoes in a winner takes all game that decides the 2020/21 NNL Champions.
Bendel Insurance had on Saturday refused to honour their group B final game against Remo, this forced the management to postponed the game to Sunday. Remo Stars have garnered four points in two games while Bendel Insurance have one point but need a two-goal margin win over Remo to stand a chance of picking the remaining one slot for them to play in the 2021/22 NPFL season. Remo on the hand need just draw to edge their bitter rivals, Bendel Insurance.
The result from the final match between Remo Stars versus Bendel Insurance will determine the fourth team that gains promotion ticket to compete in the 2021/22 NPFL.
3SC, Niger Tornadoes and Gombe have picked the first three tickets following their impressive performance at the 2021 NNL Super 8 in Enugu State.
