After match day 3 of the ongoing Nigeria National League Super 8 play off, Gombe United and Kada City have picked the two available tickets allocated to Northern conference.

Gombe United and Kada City settled for a goalless in their final group game and claimed first and second spot in their group.

In the group last game early kick off, Kogi United beats Real Stars 2-1 but it was not enough for Kogi United to be promoted to the elite division having lost heavily to Kada City in the match day two.

Gombe and Kada finished on 5 points apiece but Kada top the table with a superior goal difference while Kogi United placed 3rd with 4 points and Real finished last with 1 point.

The Scorpions has played in the elites division in the past before but this will be the first time Kada City will be campaigning in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
