It was a day to forget for Kogi United who posed a good performance in the opening game against Gombe United.

After a goalless first half half, Kada scored two quickfire goals in the 50th and 52th minutes through Nura Mohammed and Umar Muhhamed.

As Kofi United was trying to comeback, Kabiry Sanusi added the third goal to ensure maximum 3 points to Kada Stars.

Kada stars now leveled on same points with Gombe United but top on superior goal difference.

A draw in the last game between Gombe United and Kada Stars will ensure progress into the Elite division for both side.
