Ahead of the kickoff of the Nigeria National League playoff, head coach of Shooting Stars Edith Agoye has started that the team has learned from the mistake of the past, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
In the last two years, the Oluyole Warriors has missed promotion to the elite division back to back in the last two years
The draw for the playoff was held on Monday in Enugu and the former champion was drawn in group alongside rival Bendel Insurance, Remo Stars, and Ekiti United
While the group A consists of El Kanemi Warriors, DMD, Niger Tornadoes, and Gombe United.
While reacting to the draw, Agoye confirmed the readiness of 3SC for the match against Bendel Insurance and the other games.
"The draw has been made and its important to still knows that all the four clubs vying honour in the playoffs are not a pushover, every team is strong.
"Playing against Bendel Insurance will not be an easy game but we have that this time around shooting stars must qualify, we have to do everything possible to make sure that we win the game on Tuesday.
"We need to start on a winning note so that we can be on a very good way.
"The boys are very ready, roaring to go, we missed the promotion twice but corrections have been made and we are experienced in this type of tournament.
"We will be third time lucky, there is always a pressure in football but we will embrace it," he said.
