The management of Nigeria National League, NNL, has suspended chairman of Dynamite Force FC Mr. Bernard Joman and two players of the club, Oseni Muideen and Patrick Cyril for one year for assaults on match officials.
According to BuwaNews, the match report of Match-Day 15 league match between Delta Force and Dynamite Force FC in Ogwashiukwu seriously indicted Dynamite Chairman and the said players for attacking match officials after the host had defeated Dynamite by 2-0.
This is contained in the letter sent to concerned parties, which reads, “This is in line with the provisions of article 26.1 of the rules guiding Nigeria National League.
“This action has become imperative following the official match report of week 15 league match played at J. J. Okocha Stadium Ogwashiukwu, Delta State, and several reports of acts of assault on match officials by Mr Bernard Joman in two previous matches of which he received warnings.
“May we state herein that the Nigeria National League has zero tolerance for any act(s) capable of bringing disrepute to league process.” The statement concluded.
