Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng, he said: "We are focused on the league for now after our qualification to the group stage of CAF Confederation Cup. To achieve great results from the remaining matches in the league, we need to sign players to fortify the club but the quality of players available during this transfer window in different clubs will determine the number of players to sign." Aigbogun expressed dissatisfaction over the exit and inability of the three NPFL clubs to make it the knock stages of CAF Confederation Cup. "It is unfortunate that our clubs find it difficult to qualify for the group stage of CAF Confederation Cup but that is the reality we are facing. I think we need to come back home and restructure the league in such a way that our teams in the continental competitions can get it right." It would be recalled that Aiteo cup champions, Akwa United, NPFL Champions, Plateau United and MFM FC of Lagos crashed out CAF Confederation cup as they failed to make it to the group stage of the competition.
