No Crisis In MFM FC - Godwin Enakhena

MFM Director of Sports, Godwin Enakhena this morning took his time to explain the situation of things in the camp of MFM FC on his sports program, Top Sports on Top Radio, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
Following reports of the resignation of MFM FC coach, Tony Bulus and his assistant, Olanrewaju Yemi Daniel, and also reports of crisis in the camp of the Olukoya Boys, Godwin Enakhena said there are no crisis whatsoever in the team.
He said the head coach and assistant were asked to step aside for sometimes due to the poor results since match day 3 and the assistant coach, Olanrewaju Yemi Daniel tendered his resignation in the process.
"There are eight coaches in MFM FC and two (Head coach and assistant) were asked to step aside, not sacked but the assistant, Yemi Olanrewaju Daniel resigned in the process, but Tony Bulus did not resign.
Godwin also debunked rumours regarding the slash of the salaries of the coaching crew.
"Remaining six coaches are now in-charge, and at no point was the salary of the coaches slashed either to half, or quarter.
"The coaches and everyone collected their January salary in full as at when due," he said.
MFM FC will play Kano Pillars on Sunday in the match day 9 of the NPFL.
He also explained that MFM FC are punching above their weights.
"MFM are punching above their weights. Some call them Leicester City of Nigeria and as a result expects them to get results against Kano Pillars, Enyimba and other big teams."
