Norway League Goal King Leke James Win Title With Molde

Leke James has won his first-ever league title in Europe and it was in fine style too as Molde FK trounced Stromsgodset 4-0 in a Norwegian league game with the Nigeria striker scoring a brace.

Molde are champions with 62 points in 28 games, an unassailable 11 points more than closest rivals Bodoe/Glimt.

It was Molde’s fourth league crown.

The Kaduna-born striker scored two goals in the game to win an historic crown of his career.

The 27-year-old forward scored his first goal of the game in the 74th minute to give Molde FK a 3-0 lead.

He sealed the victory with his second of the game in the 81st minute as Molde won the league with two games to spare.

James this season has now scored a total of 19 goals with 15 in the league and four in UEFA Europa League.

His compatriot, Jack Ipalibo, 21, featured for Stromsgodset for 76 minutes.

Ipalibo played for Villarreal second team before he joined the Norwegian club.
