NPFL : Anaemena Remain My Toughest Opponent - Lokosa

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Esperance of Tunisia striker Junior Lokosa has named Super Eagles and Enyimba defender Ifeanyi Anaemena has the toughest defender he has ever played against.

Lokosa who presently recuperating from the injury he sustained while playing for his Tunisia explained how Anaemena always tormented him anytime they face the peoples Elephant, BSN Reports.

He revealed the statements during an Instagram Session he has with Andy Randa on Thursday.

"Anaemena is something else I tell you. I have faced a lot of strikers in the league but that guy is something else. He is very physical and always ready to rough things up," he revealed during a live Instagram session.

Any time we play his team (Enyimba), I and my strike partner Nyima Nwagua know that it will not be an easy day at all.

Anaemena will kick you all over the place and make it tough for you to score.

"There was a time he hit us badly in Aba during a game and we promised to pay him back in his own coin in the reverse leg but that didn't happen.

"When Enyimba came to Kano, we noticed that he was not in the match-day squad and we were disappointed. It was our turn to take our revenge but that didn't happen. I respect him a lot as a defender and I am sure he respects me too." Lokosa added.

Lokosa emerged NPFL top scorer before moving to Tunisia few season back.
