NPFL: "I am not responsible for Enyimba problem
By Sampson Adedeji
The chairman of Nigeria professional league champions, Enyimba international of Aba, Felix Anyasi Agwu has exonerated self from the recent issues that plagued the club.
The few days ago recorded poor results in both the domestic and continental scene which led to the sacking of the team head coach Usman Abdallah, BSN Reports.
Anyasi explained that is not solely responsible for the whole scenario but fans and supporters of the team always point accusing fingers to him.
"Everything that happens, they focus on Anyansi-Agwu and blame me, thinking it is all about me, probably because I have stayed up to 20 years, people are tired of me, may be they now want me out, I am considering to go.
“I would not want to leave Enyimba and expect it to go down, so there is no way I can wish that; that is why we are taking time," he stated.
The Peoples Elephant returned to winning ways on Sunday when they thrashed visiting AC Paradou of Algeria 4-1 in the match day 4 of the CAF confederation Cup.
