NPFL: Abia Warriors Capture Obioma

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Abia Warriors, have added Obioma Chukwuemeka to the squad catalogue.

The Heartland-based club confirmed the deal via the team’s Sporting Director Patrick Ngwaogu, who assured fans the move was carefully assessed before the one-year season loan was completed.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Obioma to our squad. We have been monitoring him for some time and from the analysis, he has strong attributes that we look for in a striker and as a person,” he said.

“We want to create healthy competition for places and we look forward to seeing Obioma bring further depth to the striking position,” Ngwaogu added.
