  NPFL: Abia Warriors Denies Ownership Claim By Orji Kalu By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria Professional Football League Club Abia Warriors has denied being owed by former governor of Abia state, Orji Kalu, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The former governor on Wednesday dropped a bombshell that he owned the Umuahia based team and will reclaim the club at the appropriate time. The club via its social media handle on Thursday afternoon denied the statements and further said that the club has been in existence ever before he became governor "Abia Warriors FC does not belong to Senator Orji Kalu.
