NPFL: Abia Warriors to resume training next week

By Omolagba Oluwayemi Following the lift on contact Sports by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, PTF, chaired by Boss Mustapha in conjunction with Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development on Thursday, Abia Warriors are set to resume trainings next week ahead of the NPFL season which will likely start later this month. The Abia based club is expected to rob shoulders with the big boys this season with various addition to their squad. In a chat with BSNSports.com.ng, the media Officer of the club, Nwosu Chigozie said the team will resume very early next week probably on Monday or Tuesday. He also ensures the fans that the season will be different from other seasons as they are going all out to challenge for the top prize and not make up the numbers as usual.
