The skilful attacker joined the Enugu based club from Sunshine Stars of Akure this summer after helping the club to respectable position on the table last season. The Flying Antelope will be campaigning only in the domestic scene this season after failing to pick continental ticket. The team was already on form when Coronavirus crisis halted the league in March this year. Ajayi stated that he will put team success in front while also hoping to score more goals this season. "I'm in Rangers to contribute my efforts towards achieving a double at the end of the season 2020/2021. For me, helping the team succeed is my first target while increasing my goals tally for the season is next," he said.
