NPFL: Akwa A Tough Venue To Play - Rivers United Striker By Sampson Adedeji Rivers United 2-goal hero Nelson Esor has described Akwa town as a difficult place to play for his team, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Rivers United suffered a 4-2 defeat to Dakkada FC in the match day 19 of the Nigeria Professional Football League match played at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo. Host scored first but Esor scored twice in 5 minute to put Rivers United on the driving seat but they were unable to hold on to the game as Dakkada scored 3 more goals to get maximum points. " Akwa town has been a very tough town for Rivers United often but the mindset they came out with today was different. They came all out to win but you can see the outcome of the match, in a game of football any side can win, it's not how you play the game but the way you put the ball inside the net. We got our chances but we couldn't convert, they had theirs and they convert it and you can see the turn around," he stated.
