NPFL: Akwa United to unveil new players on Friday

In readiness for the new Nigeria Professional Football League season, Akwa United has continued to strengthen their team with the coming of new players.

The club has concluded an arrangement to unveil four new players who has decided to pitch their tent with the Uyo based club.

The players include their former striker Mfon Udoh who left Enyimba, others are Ndifreke Effiong (Abia Warrior), Alberico Da Silva ( Ifeanyi Ubah) and Emeka Atuloma (Rivers United).

Out of the four players, Udoh is not alien to the Promise Keepers as he has created record with the club during his first spell netting 23 goals which made him Nigeria league all time goal scorer in a season.

The unveiling is scheduled for Goodwill Akpabio stadium, Uyo by 10am.
