The Solid Miners defeated visiting Niger Tornadoes by a lone goal on Monday and it was Alaekwe that was responsible for the strike.
While reacting to the outcome of the match, the striker said he was happy to net his first goal for the club and further said their target remain to secure a continental slot.
" It’s a thing of joy; I am so overwhelmed to have scored my first goal since joining Nasarawa United this season.”
