By Omolagba Oluwayemi
All eyes will be on the Soccer Temple, Agege Lagos on Wednesday evening when Kano Pillars visits MFM FC for the match day 30 encounter in the Nigeria Professional Football League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Sai Masu Gida boys are currently third on the log although level on points with second place Nasarawa United and a point adrift league leaders, Akwa United.
23rd of March 2016 was the last time Pillars picked a point at the Soccer Temple against MFM FC with all of their other visits ending in a 3-1 defeat on February 2020, the most recent but with what is at stake, Kano Pillars cannot afford to drop more points especially when they're within a touching distance of the league summit.
Pillars rivals, Akwa United and Nasarawa United will be go head-to-head at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Meanwhile, MFM FC will look to preserve their NPFL status against the Sai Masu Gida Boys. Although they look safe at the moment, a defeat against Pillars and Adamawa United will send them to the relegation arena and in a bid to avoid an edge of the seat ending to the season, the Olukoya Boys cannot afford to drop points at home.
