Insurance suffer defeat at Wikki Tourist

Bendel Insurance is still searching for the first win in the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League as the team lost to Wikki Tourist in one of the rescheduled NPFL enencounters

The Benin Arsenal started the game on the front foot trying to pegged back the host and ensured that the first half ended goalless.

Wikki returned as the better side in the second half and it paid off in the 51st minutes as Suleiman Mohammed broke the deadlock.

Insurance who is yet to record a win in the ongoing season tried to come back into the game but Wikki made sure they secured the maximum three points.

With the defeats, Insurance is yet to record a win in the top flight league in Nigeria since 2008.

Bendel Insurance have played four games, drew 3, lost one and are yet to record at least a single win.
