Despite the loss Lobi stars remained on top of the NPFL table but are one point clear of the champion.
Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng in phone call, Boboye said: "Definitely we are are working hard to retain the trophy we won last season, so, we are aiming at going back to our right position which is top of the table." He boasts.
He was full of praise for his boys as well as Lobi stars players who are chasing their first silverware since 1999, for giving them a tough time before they eventually won the match. Plateau United have to come back from a goal down to win the match 2-1.
"I give kudos to my players, they really play well, we came back as a team from a goal down to score two against Lobi stars a team that pulled a draw at the same venue last season."
