The family of Chineme Martin has filled a suit at the National Industrial Court against NFF, LMC, Nasarawa United FC and the match commisioner, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Chineme Martins slumped during a league game between Nasarawa United and Kastina on 8th of March 2020 after which he was rushed to Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead but the family of the deceased felt all parties involved have failed to leave up to promises made after his death.
In their communication with pressmen, the family spokesperson said;
"We filled a suit at the National industrial court area 11 Abuja, against NFF, LMC, NUFC and the match commissioner (Mbah). The case has been assigned and it comes up on the 15th of March, 2021."
Many believed Chineme Martins wouldn't have died if a well equipped ambulance was on ground for the game, although things had changed in the league since his death but the family will continue to fight for the cause of the death of their son until all parties involved are brought before the law
