According to sources at the Association, the meeting is to review the ongoing season as it enters the crucial stages. When contacted, the executive Secretary of the Association, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, confirmed the development. He said the meeting had been slated to hold at Hotel Reno in Abuja on Monday as part of the quarterly meeting of the Association. According to him, "yes, it is our normal quarterly meeting to review npfl season activities and other pressing issues as it affects member clubs". He said
