NPFL: Club Owners Meeting Ends Inconclusive By Niyi Busari The Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, Club Owners Association meeting to ratify the proposed eight team promotion from Nigeria National League, NNL, to the NPFL was inconclusive, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The meeting which started 10:00pm Wednesday and ended 1:00am Thursday is set to continue later today. Last week, the Nigeria National League in their Annual General Assembly meeting with the NNL club owners proposed the promotion of eight clubs to join the existing twenty NPFL teams. According to the NNL resolution, twenty eight teams will participate in the 2018/19 NPFL season with twelve relegated to the second tier league at the end of the season.
