After a pulsating encounter in the match day of the Nigeria Professional Football League between Sunshine Stars and Kwara United, Coach Kabiru Dogo has heaped praises on the Akure fans for their tremendous supports.
The Akure Gunners edged Kwara United 1-0 in a game played at the Akure Township stadium, while 3 players also got a marching order.
" I will congratulations to my team for the hard earned results, for the past 3 three matches we have not being getting the right results but the team is playing well.
I have to appreciates the management and fans for their supports, this is what I want from them not fighting against one another .
On the issue of officiating I can not say anything because they will say that is their job and our job is to coach, so I can't say those red cards are served cards.
We planned to score 2 or 3 goals in this match but the red cards slows us down .
We made tactical changes to the team the moment we received red cards and I have to commend the boys for a job well done," he concluded.
Dogo left Nasarawa United at the end of last season for Sunshine Stars.
