NPFL: Eguma appreciates players, urges supporters to rally round team

The coach Rivers United Stanley Eguma has hailed his players for their performance in the ongoing 2018/2019 NPFL season.

The Rivers state based team held Sunshine Stars of Akure to 1-1 draw in the match day 4 of the league, played at Akure Township stadium.

According to him, "First and foremost I want to thank my players for the efforts they have put in, two away games and we didn't come back empty handed, Eguma told www.bsnsports.com.ng.

I want to enjoin the supporters to come out in numbers to support the team because we have played two away games without them and their supports matters, " he said.

Rivers United will return home for the first time this season and play MFM FC in the match day 5 of the 2018/19 NPFL season.
