By Sampson Adedeji
Warri Wolves defeated Rivers United in the match day 12 of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Coach of Rivers United Stanley Eguma has explained why they lost, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The 'Pride of Rivers' crashed out of the CAF Confederation cup on Sunday after they suffered 5-4 defeat via penalty shoot out to Enyimba international.
The team hope to use Warri Wolves game to redeem its image but it was never meant to be as they suffered another 1-0 loss in Warri.
Eguma said disorganization at the back cost them the game.
"It is a game of football, sometimes it's like that. All I find out is that the game was too physical.
"The two teams were too physical in the game and I think in the second half, they conceded that goal because there was disorganisation in the defence, in the center back that's what caused that goal.
But all the same the teams, I commend them for their efforts," he stated.
