  NPFL: Eguma Hope For Quick Resumption Of The League By Sampson Adedeji Head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club, Rivers United, Stanley Eguma, is hoping the league will resume soon in order to help the teams campaigning in the CAF inter-club competitions, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria league was suspended in mid-March due to outbreak of Coronavirus which halted football activities globally. Eguma believe if the league is on, the players will be able to meet required standard of fitness for inter club competitions. "League delay not giving us what we are expecting physically and mentally as far as the game is concern and now we should have been better in the league. "With the league we would have been a better team but I think that some other countries are also affected and we need to manage the situation because it was caused by the pandemic. "We hope the league will start soonest so our players can get the needed fitness that required to do well in the championship," he said. Rivers United will host Rangers international of Enugu in the match day One of the league at the Adokie Amaisiamaka stadium.
