  NPFL: Eguma Plays Down Champions Tag, Says League Not Over Yet   Sampson Adedeji   Rivers United coach, Stanley Eguma, has played down the tag that Rivers United are run away champions, BSNsports.com.ng can report.   Since the commencement of the league season, the Pride of Rivers have put up good results and maintain the top of the league table, however the coach believed that the end justifies the means.   The team on Wednesday in the matchday 16 surprised bookmakers  as they secured an away win against Kano Pillars in Kaduna   During a post-match, Eguma said their win over Pillars is one of those results that happened in the game of football.   " The league is still on, Pillars game is one of those games, it's not the end of the league, we won today, we are expected to do better in other games because other teams are also coming.   The league is not over until it's over, we keep working hard and prepare for the next game," he said.
