By Sampson Adedeji
Nigeria Professional Football League side Rivers United will on Sunday visit Enyimba international stadium in Aba and the team head coach Stanley Eguma has stated the mission of his team in the game, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The People's Elephant seems to have dropped some valuable points at home in recent games while Rivers United is gradually hitting their top form.
Eguma while talking to the club media, maintained that playing against Enyimba in Aba is always a difficult task but they primed to get maximum points in the game.
"It's a big game and you know it's a rival team, rival opponent.
"Enyimba/Rivers United anyday anytime is a cracker and it's a game that both teams know each other very well and pride is at stake.
"So I think not only the 3 points, pride is at stake and we hope we are going to give a good account of ourselves to ensure we don't drop points in Aba,' he said."
In the reverse fixture played in May at the Adoke Amaisimaka stadium in Port-Harcourt, Rivers United defeated Enyimba 1-0.
The away side will be motivated going into the game having dispatched former champion Plateau United 3-1 in the match day 30 while Enyimba were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Warri Wolves.
