Enyimba brink near to log-leaders MFM

Enyimba have bounced-back from the losing to rivals Enugu Rangers International last week by ending Rivers United’s unbeaten run to get two-points closer to leaders MFM.

The Peoples’ Elephants earned a comfortable 2-0 win over United on Sunday, thanks to a goal from Abdulrahman Bashir and Wasiu Alalade.

Enyimba, who clearly revealed their ambitions to return to continental football, travel on the road to Wikki Tourists on Wednesday where a win could propel the two-time African champions to top spot.
