NPFL: Enyimba Coach Attributes Team Recent Poor Performance To Injury By Sampson Adedeji Following their not to impressive performance in the league in recent time, head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club Enyimba, Fatai Osho has blamed injury for the poor outing, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. Despite playing up to the quarter final stage of this year CAF Confederation cup, the People's Elephants have been blowing hot and cold in the ongoing league season. Osho while speaking lamented that injury is the main reason they've failed to live up to expectations but further said he was not using it an excuses for the not too impressive performance. " To be fair to these boys, when we reorganized the team we have some players that have to play some certain role. "As at yesterday we have 13 players injured and today you can see that we practically beg some the injured players to play, we beg some to continue because they've been injured for three months, we have to force them to play. The injury has been there when you have 36 players and you have 16 or 18 fit is a whole lot of headache. We are not making excuses but when injury crop up in a particular area it becomes a problem.. The injury has really not be kind to us," he stated. Enyimba International won only one in their last 5 NPFL matches.
