The People's Elephant confirmed that Obi has joined Alnasser Club of Benghazi, Libya on a two-year contract. The strong attacker joined Enyimba at the start of the ongoing season and played a key role as the club played up to the quarter final of the CAF Confederation cup. The chairman of the club Felix Anyansi praised the player and his contribution to the team while he also wish him well with the new club.
