NPFL: Enyimba Thumps Kwara United as Rangers Back To Winning Ways

Nigeria Professional league champion, Enyimba international and Enugu Rangers recorded victory in their NPFL rescheduled matches played on Wednesday.

The People Elephant who defeated city rival Abia Warrior 4-1 on Monday at Okigwe put up another impressive performance against Kwara United defeating the Harmony Boys 2-0.

Goals from Stanley Dimgba in the 5th minute and Victor Mbaoma 85th minute strike ensured a maximum points for Enyimba.

At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, Flying Antelope bounced back to victory with a 1-0 solitary win withe lone goal from Chinoso Eziekwe in the 75th minute as they pipped Kano Pillars.

The victory eased tension on the Enugu based side after an home defeat to Akwa United on Sunday.

The win moved Enyimba to 5th position with 30 points while Rangers is placed 16th with 23 points.

Both teams still have 3 outstanding matches to play.
