NPFL: Enyimba To Persuade Afelokhai With New deal

Ahead of the new season in the Nigeria Professional Football League Club, clubs continue to transfer players they feel will increase its chance of winning the title, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Enyimba who will be campaigning the CAF inter-club competition next season is not left out as the club is working round the clock to keep together it's players .
The latest from the camp of the Peoples Elephant show that the club management has began discussions with the club first choice goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai, whom his contract will expire in the next few days.
The agile goaltender is presently on N800, 000 monthly wages according to sources and the club is willing to increase his wages to wade off impending suitors.
Meanwhile, direct opponent Rivers United is already trying to attract Afelokai with meagre monthly of N1.2 million but it's left to be seen if the former Kano Pillars goalkeeper will agree a move.
