NPFL: Akwa United recorded first win

Akwa United coach, Raphael Everton has finally won the first game as the team's head coach, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Brazilian has not won any of his four previous matches since the beginning of 2018/19 season. Ajwa United have drawn two and lost two in their first games.
At last Akwa United made their fans laugh for the very first time in the 2019 Nigeria professional football league season as they recorded emphatic 3-0 win over Go Round FC.
The Promise Keeper who are yet to win a single game this season struggled earlier in the game played at the Goods will Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
It was Christian Lolo who sent the home fans jubilating in the 47th minutes with fine finish.
Ndifreke Effiong made it 2-0 in the 53rd minutes before Ubong Friday netted the third goal in the 70th minutes off an assist from Mfon Udoh.
The victory gave a sigh of relief from the team coach Rafael Everton who is under pressure after team chairman Paul Bassey read a riots act to the team.
