NPFL: Fatai Osho Blames Bad Pitch For Enyimba's Loss By Sampson Adedeji Enyimba International head coach, Fatai Osho has attributed his team defeat to Rivers United in a rescheduled NPFL fixture to the poor state of the pitch, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Sunday Adetunji net the only goal of the game in the 85th minute as Pride of Rivers defeated People'sElephant in one of the rescheduled league game at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in Port-Harcourt. Reacting after the match, Osho said the pitch didn't allow them to play their game and they were forced to contained the Rivers United players. He further commended the home team for their display in the keenly contested encounter. "It's good game for us, we came here with a lot of confidence that we will get a good result but unfortunately we couldn't play our football due to the pitch. "It could have been better if we had a better pitch, we just can't but we tried to contain them because they are used to it, but not to take anything away from them, they did a lot of job to get the result and we have to commend them for that," he said. Enyimba will have the opportunity to redeem themselves when they face FC Ifeanyi Ubah in another rescheduled match during the week.
