Gombe United alongside Niger Tornadoes, Shooting Stars and Remo Stars are four new clubs that secured promotion to the elite division from the Nigeria National League (NNL). Gombe United today intensified their readiness for the league as the players of the club were taken through a routine medical check-up by the club management. Players went through Electrocardiography among other tests line up for them at the specialist hospital in the state. The target of the club for the season is to maintain the elite division status.
