NPFL: Gov Muhammad Abubakar Appoints Abubakar Sadiq As New Chairman, Jigawa Golden Stars

JIGAWA GOLDEN STARS FOOTBALL CLUB GETS NEW CHAIRMAN

Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has approved the appointment of Air Commodore Abubakar Sadiq (rtd) as the new Chairman, Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club Steering Committee.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini.

Similarly, the Governor has also approved the appointments of Adamu Buje Hadejia, Sabo Saleh Gantsa and Munir Adamu Kazaure as Members of the Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club Steering Committee.

The statement disclosed that the appointments of the new Chairman/Members of the Jigawa Golden Stars Football Club to serve the State Government in this capacity is purely on merit, competency and personal integrity.

The statement added "it is hoped that the new appointees would discharge their duties diligently with dedication and probity.

The appointments take immediate effect.
