  NPFL: Heartland Win It Late, As Adamawa United Gets First League Win By Omolagba Oluwayemi Kingsley Maduforo scored a late winner at the Dam Ayam Stadium Owerri to help Heartland to a 2-1 win over 10-men Dakkada FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Kokoette Udo's had earlier given Dakkada the lead 5 minutes before the break when his first-time volley beats goalkeeper Nwabulu but Adachi Emmanuel levelled the scores for the home side in the 53rd minute the same minute Dakkada captain was sent off after his offensive comments towards the referee. Maduforo ensured Heartland gets the 3 points when he scored from a close range in the fifth minute of the additional minute extending Heartland unbeaten record to five. Adamawa United got their first league win of the 2020/21 NPFL season in their 13th attempt today against Lobi Stars of Markurdi. Stanley Nnanna who came-in in the second half will be so happy to be the hero tapping home Sadiq Lawan cross from close range. MFM FC continues the resurgence playing a goalless draw away at Kastina against Kastina United. After today's matches, Heartland moved to 8th on the log with 17 points, MFM returned to 14th on 14 points same point as Dakkada FC who occupied the 15th place. Lobi Stars dropped to 10th while Adamawa United remained rock bottom but will hope today's win can help turn their season around
