By Sampson Adedeji
Following their emphatic 4-1 win over Warri Wolves, manager of Abia Warriors, Imama Amapakabo has expressed satisfaction on the performance of the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Umuahia based team started the season on a rough patch but has been able to run it around and the position of the coach that has been under threat is a bit guaranteed at present.
"When we started at some point I was even asking my bench if the team warm up properly because the way we started the game was so slow and as I told my team the goal was a gift, after that we rallied round the goal put us under pressure to the level that we were given away the ball many time, we needed a goal to let us back in the game which came later and I agreed that we can have the game under control.
"The players are showing character and we actually work hard for this, we believe that if we keep on organising ourselves the way we wanted to, I think we will be difficult to beat. Tactically we've working very hard and we just we want keep shoulder down and we don't want to be carried away.
"You don't celebrating the league after 11 games, is a league season, everybody that has high point we have low point .
"Our sad period came early we weather it, at some point some people said I will be the first coach to be sacked, I celebrated that but kudos to Abia Warriors management for believing in me," he said.
