NPFL: Imama Rues Missed Chances

Manager of the Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors Imama Amapakabo has rued the chances missed by his players in their match against Akwa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Abia Warriors played host to Akwa United at the Okigwe stadium in Imo in the match day 23 of the league and the game ended in a stalemate.
While reacting after the match, Imama said the wasn't bad and immediately focus maximum points in the next match.
"Wasn't a bad game but we didn't do enough in the defensive area of the opponent, even when the red card came, the numerical advantage didn't show if you don't keep possession of the ball .
"We had a situation that in attack our wide players were playing too far away from the strikers and we were able to coordinate.
"We have to keep on working , no matter how you keep the opponent run their defensive area and you were able to put the passes together nothing is going to happen.
"In the next game there is 3 points to play for against Jigawa Golden Star and we go and fight for all the points," he said
Abia Warriors will face Jigawa Golden Star in the match day 24 if the league this weekend and will hoping to get maximum points from the game.
