NPFL: Jigawa Golden Stars head coach sacked, get new Technical Adviser

Following the string of poor results recorded in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League season, the management of Jigawa Golden star has decided to terminate the appointment of the team head coach Rabiu Tata.

Jigawa Golden star secured promotion to the premier league this season and has been struggling to keep up with the pace of the division, BSN Reports

The management on Tuesday decided to relief the gaffer his role and immediately appoint another coach that will continue to tutor the team.

Gilbert Opana was given the mandate as the team Technical Adviser and to ensure that the team results improve in order to avoid relegation.

Jigawa is placed in 18th position on the league table presently with 14 points in 15 matches.
