Akwa United extended their unbeaten run in the Nigeria Professional Football League to six games following a spoil draw 2-2 by,their hosts Gombe United in a rescheduled fixture at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday, BSNSports reports. Musa Usman put the hosts upfront from a long range effort at four minutes early in the game. Emmanuel Charles restored parity for the visitors 12 minutes, while Mfon Udoh headed the ball home six minutes from time to double Promise Keepers lead. Usman Musa converted from spot two minutes for Savannah Scorpion's from time to seal off a spoil draw in Gombe. In Markudi, Lobi Stars and Kastina United battled to a 1-1 draw. Martins Usule gave Chanji Boys the lead on 12 minutes, while Stephen Micheal levelled scores for the hosts on 68th minutes from spot. Remo Stars survived a big scare at home securing a nervy 2-1 home win against Wikki Tourists at the Gateway Int'l Stadium, Sagamu. Lanre Runsewe and Victor Mbaoma both netted goals for the hosts with Isa Gata on target for the visitors. Kada City also enjoyed comfortable evening at the Kaduna Township Stadium recording a 2-1 win against struggling Yobe Deserts. Kabiru Sanusi gave Kada City the lead with a firm header from close range in the 18th minute. Philip Auta levelled scores for Yobe Deserts connecting from a beautiful cross with a well placed header three minutes after break. Kabir Sarki got the winner for the hosts from a header two minutes before the end of the game. Bendel Insurance and Enyimba played out a goalless 0-0 draw at the University of Benin Sports Complex, Benin.
