Ahead of the new domestic and continental season, the head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club Kano Pillars, Ibrahim Musa has outlined the target of the club going into the new season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Mai Su Gida boys is one if the teams that will carry the country flag in the CAF COnfederation cup scheduled to start later in the year.

Musa while speaking on Brila fm radio, he stated that group stage of the competition remained the club target at least for now.

“You know last time I won the Aiteo cup and came second in the NPFL so this time around I am not looking less especially in this CAF Confederation cup because it has been long for Kano Pillars to do well in the CAF Confederation cup.

So it’s high time to see we do well. My first target is to see Kano Pillars get to the group stage first. After the group stage, then we are looking for the cup," he said.

Pillars was picked as the country's campaigner in the competition after this year edition could not be held due to outbreak of Corona virus.
